the Society will issue you a Certificate of Attendance for your self-reported
attendance at this meeting, excluding the Banquet, business meetings, and
receptions. This is issued for attendance only and does not imply evaluation
of learning or provision of learning objectives.
INTENT: CE is intended to meet the needs of professionals
with terminal degrees. Press are not to interfere with any CE sessions,
and attend at the discretion of the presenter. SSSS maintains the right
to refuse pre-conference CE registration to anyone whom we deem unqualified
to attend CE. It is the professional's responsibility to determine the
acceptability of these program offerings for specific licensure or certification
needs.
APPROVAL BY PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR SSSS TO OFFER CONTINUING
EDUCATION: SSSS seeks approvals to offer CE from professional
organizations which set strict criteria for approval offerings. Only those
sessions listed as CE sessions in the program will count for CE with the
approval organizations below. In all CE sessions, participants must attend
the full session, complete the sign in forms, complete a participant's
satisfaction form, complete an assessment of learning, and have valid registration
to earn a CE session certificate. At the time of program printing, SSSS
has received the following approvals for continuing education:
PSYCHOLOGISTS: SSSS is approved by the American Psychological
Association (APA) to offer continuing education credit for psychologists.
SSSS maintains responsibility for the program.
CANADIAN PSYCHOLOGISTS: SSSS is approved by the Canadian
Psychological Association to offer continuing education credit for psychologists.
SSSS maintains responsibility for the program.
CALIFORNIA MFT and LCSW LICENSURE: SSSS is approved to offer
continuing education for MFT, MFCDC and LCSW licensure requirements in
California by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences under Provider
Number: PCE 1262.
CALIFORNIA NURSES: SSSS is approved by the California
Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # 13479, to offer continuing
education through the Continuing Education workshops. Contact hours are
determined by the actual number of hours of each workshop.
AASECT: SSSS is approved by AASECT to offer continuing
education credit. AASECT continuing education will be awarded only for
those sessions which are designated as CE sessions.
COUNSELORS: SSSS is approved by the National Board for
Certified Counselors, Inc., to offer continuing education for National
Certified Counselors. We adhere to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines.

FLORIDA BOARD OF CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK, MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY
AND MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING: SSSS is approved by the Florida
Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health
Counseling of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration as a provider
of Continuing Education for Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Marriage
and Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors and to provide Sex Therapist

SOCIAL WORKERS: SSSS, 1032, is approved as a provider
for social work continuing education by the American Association of State
Social Work Boards (AASSWB) through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE)
program. States under the AASSWB are: Alaska, Alabama, Georgia, Iowa,
Louisiana, Maryland, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island,
South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virgin Islands, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
